My Ipod is frozen and after reseting it, it still remains frozen. I hope I don't have to send it away to get fixed. Dumb Ipod lol....I'm going to wait 'til the battery drains and hopefully recharging it will make it right again. I've dropped the Ipod now 3 times: once on the concrete and twice in my bathroom. Yesterday, I was really messing around and singing hardcore (while doing actions haha), and my Ipod was about to slip off the counter and I tried to catch it. Only I didn't catch it, it hit the tips of my fingers and bouced up higher and finally hit the floor. OUCH!! After that, when I was switching songs, the Ipod froze, and I am at where I am now...Ipodless. It's funny because the song that it froze on was exactly on the same song it froze on the last time I froze it. I've only frozen it twice and that song must be a curse or something lol. Only last time, reseting it just fixed everything...now, it's not working at all; it is staying on the reset screen with the apple logo on it.
Yup, I finally picked up my new Comp at Just Praise yesterday.....so that's a big purchase eh? It's an Athlon 64. I still need to pick up a monitor from Jackson though.....
Haha.....I was hoping to pick it up before YC, but after 2.5 weeks or so, my Kutless CD finally came in the mail. Now I have all 3 of their CDs haha. It's a really good CD...the last song is nice...the band performed it at YC on Sunday.....read below for the lyrics.
Grace and Love
By Kutless
Many things in life are hard for me
Many things can pull us down
I don't understand why I do what I do
How could I take my eyes off you
After all You've done for me
And after all You've done for me
[chorus]
It's by grace and love I am saved
It's by grace and love You've forgiven me
And by that love and grace I'm amazed
It's by grace and love I am free
I am free, I am free, I am free
And it's by grace and love that I am free
I'll live with You eternally
I thank you Lord that I am free
I thank You Lord for loving me
I thank You Lord for dying upon the tree of Calvary
I thank You Lord for loving me
I thank You Lord for dying for me
Many things in life are hard for me
Many things can pull us down
But by grace and love You've forgiven me
And by grace and love we are free
UPDATE: 9:18pm- My Ipod works again. After several prayers offered (SERIOUSLY!)and numerous rebooting attempts after the battery was nearly being drained, it all of a sudden worked again. I recharged the battery and just uploaded some more songs onto the Ipod and it froze again....*SIGH....but I rebooted it once, and all was fine....what an emotional day.....you have no idea! Praise God that my Ipod works again and for answering my prayer about not having to mail it off to get it fixed. :)

Highlights
Well after a week full of packed events, thousands of youth/young adults, and lots of music and jumping, I'm finally home. :)
Here are some highlights of what went on at YC 2005...It's going to be long, but I'm just documenting it for my records ....you're welcomed to read if you so desire... :P
FRIDAY
I arrived expecting Marty Sampson as the worship leader for YC; he was the leader for the previous 2 years after all. I was really disappointed initially that he wasn't there. Haha.....turns out that by the end, it didn't matter if Marty was there...it was still good and God's presence was still there so who am I to complain? :P
Delerious performed...they weren't as good as they usually are. Definitely the least exciting of the 3 main concerts this year...which is weird because last year, I'd say they were the BEST.
The message was basically the Salvation Message, but it was more interesting as Miles MacPherson spoke on demons. Weird hey how you would try to save ppl with that message lol but he made it work, so I give him his props.... :)
We went to Denny's with K Gan and JLV Bong and we didn't get home until 3:30am. We eevn took our "younglings" out and I commend them becuase they were able to get up on Saturday and still be all right for most of the day for the sermons and worship and everything.
UPDATE: June 1st- 10:00am: Oh yeah, this was the day we drove Jen Bong to find her car at Safeway (or so she thought she parked it there)only when we arrived, we couldn't find her car. I was speaking to them via walkie-talkie, and was messing around with her saying, "Where's your car? Did it get toed away?!?!" I was only messing with her...but I had no idea where it was either so imagine if it really was gone lol....turns out it was at Taco Bell; the restaurant is beside Safeway. :P
SATURDAY
Audio Adrenaline performed and their performance was HOT!!!! This was the best performance at any YC EVER and definitely comes close to being one the of concerts I've been to ever. The leader singer went into the audience on the floor and was singing and meeting fans and he made it all the way up to the first balcony. It was cool because I was pretty close to him haha. It's just cool seeing how he engaged his audience. Everyone was the most excited this day...so that makes for great fun times!!!
I also saw Hawk Nelson and they were really good too. Nice Canadian guys.
The sermons from here on out were done by Mike Pilavachi; I love this guy haha. He talked on how in order for us to find Jesus more intimately, we have to go through the dessert. Only then, are we humbled and go through intimate worship...and through that, we are lured by Him; He draws us closer to Him.
Mike also talked about how it's okay if we have disappointed God..He wants to use us in a mighty way. He used Peter as an example.
I didn't get to see Kutless this day as dinner ran long. When I got to the REXALL, the band was done performing and was saying "thanks everybody, see ya latter!!" That made me really, really sad haha.
SUNDAY
KUTLESS BABY!!! They were AWESOME!!! Jen Bong got a pic with them and got their autographs on two different items lol. I wish I got to meet them, but it's cool. They are definitely my favorite band ...hahah..well, them and UNITED lol.
Toby Mac was GREAT! I had a blast, but I think the audience was a little tired from staying up late and from everything all week haha...so this wasn't the climax of the weekend.
The sermon was on how we need to evangelize to the "worst kinds of people," as that was what Jesus did. Mike used the prostitutes, demon-posessed, etc. as an example of the types of people Jesus witnessed to and challenged us to do the same.
UPDATE: June 1st- 10:00am: Dang, I forgot to mention that Tree63 did a nice cover of "In the Name of Love" by U2. That was HOT!!! It wasn't like some really bad attempt to sing/play a U2 song, but it rocked!!!!
And I Guess I have to add "flamboyant asian guy" to my records lol. There was this really gay acting fob sitting in front of me at YC and I thought to myself "is this a little flamboyant?" I didn't say anything to anyone all weekend, but when Jen Bong sat beside me for the last worship session, I asked Jen "what that guy was all about?" and we both laughed so hard......*sigh.....not because we think flamboyant
peole are funny, but you should have seen the things that he was doing that weekend.
OVERALL
BEST YC I've EVER been too; it was even better than the first time I went, and that's hard to beat. The first time for any experience is almost always the best....but I'm glad I could have such a great experience. We had a great group of enthusiastics in our group, and that totally made the whole experience better than any other YCs I've been to! :P

Encouragement
Man of God
By Audio Adrenaline
[verse 1]
Sometimes I'm a liar sometimes I'm a fake
sometimes I'm a hypocrite that everybody hates
sometimes I'm a poet sometimes I'm a preacher
sometimes I watch life go by sitting on the bleacher
[chorus]
Sometimes I'm a man of God
sometimes I'm alright
sometimes I lay down close my eyes
and pray to God I'm ready for the night
[verse 2]
Sometimes I don't feel good
it's hard to start the day
it's hard to climb the obstacles
that sometimes come my way
if I make it, I'm a good man
am I a bad man if I fail?
I know I'm never good enough
so I let grace prevail
The above is how I'm feeling right now. It's been a long day; a day filled with mundane activities. Been doing DVBS stuff: making phone calls, emails, bookings, etc. It's frustrating...but I know it's all going to be worth it in the end. ;P
I was reading David's CP page today, and man, it put a smile to my face. Dude, I think it's barely been a year since you've been a part of the CPC family and I've seen so much growth in your faith. That's not all, you've grown as a person in EVERY area of your life. Yup, 1 Tim 4:12 is a GREAT verse man....remember, that though you are young, with God you have the ability to impact others in a GREAT way!!
I'm encouraged by a lot of the youth in YAC every time I think of them. You guys and gals make it all worth it! Keep the Faith "younglings." ;P

Bye Bye Bye....
Today, we finally took my mom out for a late Mother's Day lunch; we had Dim Sum. Afterwards, we went to T&T to get Wonston an early birthday cake. I already ate a slice of it hahaha...mmmm, mango moose cake. :P
My Simpsons toys are officially sold. I ended the auction early as the bidder and I came up with a good price to end the auction early. He seemed to really want these figures so who am I to argue? :P My oldest bro found out today that I was selling the figures and was disappointed that I was getting rid of them. He told me he would've bought the figures off me at some point in the future if I didn't want them, but oh well.....I don't want him to spend money on the same crap that I do right? haha. I'm sad to see the figures go though...but I am not attached to them like I am to some of my other material posessions..... :) See ya later Simpsons figure!!!! :)
I cleaned up my room a bit and did some erratic rearranging today; there's actually more space to walk around my room now. We'll see if this arrangment will last...
I did all the rearranging to make more space so let's see if it works out. :P

Okay Wait, Are You Sure About This!??!?
SO Episode III was great. 'Nuff Said. No Spoilers; No more talking about the movie itself. The experience was great because all the nerds came with their Lightsabres and costumes. Everyone had the new lightsabres you could get for $150 and DANG, I WANT BOTH THE RED AND THE BLUE ONES RIGHT NOW!!! Haha...but they're $150 a piece!!! PRICEY, but NICE though! It was hilarious because the nerds were having fights with them and everyone was taking pictures; what a sight!!! Great atmosphere....ppl who didn't even know each other were battling and chatting....
I remember when a month ago when I was buying my Purple Lightsabre and the saleslady told me these new expensive ones were coming and I thought "There's no way I would want those...so expensive!!" Well, how I was wrong....I WANT IT BAD!!!
Okay I have to give props to Alicia; she is the queen of comics. Man, she guessed 22 characters on the poster that I put up on my previous post about a week ago! YOU ARE THE QUEEN of COMICS!!! WAHAHAH!!!! Whichever nerd you marry will be a lucky guy. :)
Okay, I think I got accepted into Education. I have been checking Infonet everyday to see if I got accepted and for the longest time it said "We have reviewed your application and we are awaiting a faculty decision." Today it's changed. It says: "Admission Decision: WE ARE PLEASED TO ADVISE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN GRANTED TENTATIVE ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY."
SO I'M IN WHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA! PRAISE GOD!!! YOU KNOW ME GETTING IN IS A GOD-CAUSED EVENT!!! HALLELUJAH!!
I'm so thankful....I wasn't worried at all in the past semester or so...I hope it doesn't seem arrogant to anyone lol..... but I really had faith that God would get me in...I felt He gave me enough to have a great year to use my marks and apply to get in........To Him be all the honour and glory, d'know what I mean? :)

I'm not a mercenary, I'm a warrior!!!
"What of me, dear Lord? Are you pleased? What did you see? I am sorry that I have to ask, wishing i knew without asking. Fear, I suppose, makes me doubt. Still, I yearn to hear from you--a word, or image, a name or even just a glance from you."

K2s to the EXTREME!!

That's right baby, I've got new inlines.....I know I'm in great credit card debt, but I couldn't resist as these bad boys were on clearence- and yes, they're K2s!!! SWEET! Anyone wanna go blading? I plan to utilize them along the paths downtown lots this spring/summer if I can. I tried them last afternoon up where I live (there's lots of hills), and its funny because the blades I had previous to these are so crappy; the blades' wheels were totally dying out. I couldn't pick up speed going downhill, and I had to exert too much energy going up. With these new K2s, I was going fast without exerting much energy at all. It was scary at first because I wasn't use to the speed and I had the fear of wiping out. Well as you know with me, if I'm afraid of something, I'll do my best to try to face it head on and conqueor it, so that's what I did haha.
I need to get a helmet. The one I have fit me when I was a teen....not anymore. I fear cracking my head on the cement; all it takes is one time out of a million for me to slip and do that. I don't want to face what Bret Hart did when he fell on the cement when he was just casually biking. As for the other gear, I don't know, I might do without them because if I fall, I won't mind the scars lol...who cares right!??! :P I really didn't care about the helmet/gear as I haven't used them in ages until my bro had to become overprotective and try and convince me to do so. :P

Farewell
2 more sleeps 'til Episode 3....I can hardly wait.... :)
Tom won thr million on Survivor hooray!!!!
Cheryl's farewell party was yesterday and it's sad to see her go, but it's good to know that she is leaving to do God's work in Asia...hopefully we'll see you before your 3 year term on Missions is over. During a conversation with Cheryl yesterday she told me how difficult I was to handle to which I replied:
"I'm not hard to please, I just know what I want."
That quote is mine so I better not hear it off the lips of anyone I know. Yes, if I hear it, it'll reveal what kind of person you truly are; it'll reveal that you are a "line-stealer." No jokes. No just kids. No J-Ks.

QUIZ TIME AGAIN!!

Okay, there's about 38 superheroes in the above picture, I'll give props to whoever can name even half of them..so I need about 19 names baby...good luck! (I know all of them without a doubt except for 2 of them...because they might be new characters I've never seen before!)
Man I had a weird set of dreams 2 nights ago...one was that I was a really psycho worship leader at church, only our church had grown so much...we had one extra section of pews on each side of what we have now at CPC. I was psycho in the sense of what I imagine King David being like in how he was undignified for God...I especially remember how I danced and jumped in this dream; it could be a glimpse of how I'll be later on in the future haha....
I had another incident with what I thought was a "spiritual spook" when I felt something was freezing my hand and I woke up terrified; I literally almost screamed. When I woke up I realiezed my hand wasn't cold and looked at the clock and it was 3:53am...Haha.."The Hour".... :) Now that I reflect back, I know when I got this dream from about being frozen. It was from the episode of Smallville I watched earlier on that day. Freaky! It was just a dream though, not a spiritual attack lol....

The Fight for the Soul of the Bride
Only Alive
By Jars of Clay
I'm a fair weather friend
I'm a colorless view but I'm willin' to make a deal
If you think you can make some faith here inside
I'll drive off and marry you
CHORUS
I'm only alive with you
I can't get by and I won't get through
So put me in the river and let me say I do
I'm only alive with you
You're a sight for sore eyes and a newborn cry
In a year where there are so few
If you throw me a line, I'll show you in time
I'm fallin' in love with you
Though my heart has been torn by loves I have worn
And I'm tempted by them ever still
I tremble inside when you walk in the room
You hold my affections and will
I'm halfway through "Wild at Heart" and it's pretty good. Okay, so it's pretty truthful about how men are wounded and what our deepest longings are....now it's on to the healing process......
God I know there's a fight for my soul, but please keep me with You. If there's one thing I'm afraid of, it's that I'll let You go...please help me to hold onto You. No matter what....please.....

AMAZING, SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
Man I'm so glad Amazing Race is over...what an INTENSE 2 HOURS!!! I think this finale was super awesome. I am over very happy with how this one turned out in the end!! :P
American Idol was stupid! Poor Carrie...if she doesn't survive this week, I'll be super pissed off! I am hoping for her win....otherwise, that stupid Bo Bice will probably take the title....
So I hung out with Crystal today and afterwards, I FINALLY picked up my Darth Vader Voice Changer!! It was $10 cheaper at Superstore, so I'm glad I waited. I also picked up an extra lightsabre for $10 cheaper there; I picked up the Yoda lightsabre. It's small lol; it's "Yoda sized!" It also has some Yoda phrases on it. Now I might have "wasted money," to some of you guys, but my bro Boston also bought a lightsabre (Obi Wan), and he bought a helmet too!! We were both walking around the house trying to be Darth Vader!! It was hilarious! Here's a pic of what I looked like with the helmet on hahaha!!

Hey Crystal, take a look at the link below...it goes with your name "The Secret Word is Banana"...hahah....and the rest of you Family Guy watchers can look at it too...it's hilariously disturbing!!!

Bruise
Today was cool...got to help serve food as a waiter for our church fundraiser Mother's Day Dinner. Good job Sarah for planning and for everyone else who executed! You guys are the best and I'm glad that as friends we can share these experiences together! It makes it way more fun!
Karen told me this today on MSN: "I got a bruise on my jawline from ultimate frisbee." Good job Leo!! LOL, you clobbered her good! I guess we're both good at beating up Mah girls in sports hahaha!
I think Crystal and I are shopping tommorrow.....I want to buy that Darth Vader Voice Changing Helmet...stay tuned for details as to when I actually buy that baby!!
Question: Do you guys have friends you can say you love? It says something about your friendship if you can say that about them...... if you've found it, GREAT!!!! If not, keep looking, those friendships DO exist!! Right?!?!

Rapture
Did anyone see The Simpsons episode last night about Homer successfully predicting The Rapture? Man, I don't know why they do it, but every year, there's always some really weird 'religious' episode on the show, and it's not that I mind- because I do have a sense of humour- the Christian mocking. What did bother me about last night's episode was that the fact that the rapture will happen...and as I watched it last night with my bros, I realized that they are being exposed to something which will happen, but they probably don't realize that it will because of the way it was portrayed on the show. In fact, many people don't realize it's going to happen....would seeing yesterday's episode destort their sense of truth with regards to the rapture....It'll happen one day and all in seriousness, I want them taken too; I want all those who don't believe to see the light.
What's with the school marks? It's May 9th and we still don't have all of our marks back? Man, University is getting stupider and stupider hahaha...

ALEXIS ON FIRE!!!
No not the band "Alexis on Fire," my second cousin Alexis!! Lexie is one cute kid and here are the pics to prove it...she's 22 months..I dare you to tell me she's not cute...if you do, I am so serious, you're destined to a severe beating by me...no jokes.....

Oh yeah, here's a pic of Jarrett too.....he's 5 years old...

Home Tommorrow
Man it's been more of a fun day today. We went to watch my cousin's kid, Jarrett, who is only 5, play his first soccer game. It was cool and definitely a 'moment.' We took him to celebrate his team's victory at the nicest DQ I have EVER seen in my life! I wonder when we'll get nice DQs like that. And oh, BTW Geo, the mushroom swiss burger there isn't that good....it was okay. The bread seemed to be very garlic-buttered up....it was good though but I think you hyped it up for me to much to try it hahaha.
We also just sat and talked about childhood stories for a large portion of the night.....man it's so great to remember what has happened to us in our childhoods. I distinctly remember me and my cousin who I'm staying with here (and her brother Anthony), were pretty bad when we visited our grandma in Saskatoon. We would ride the elevator to the third floor and when the door opened, we would hide and yell out "hello fay poh!!" (translation: "hello fat lady!!") The 3rd level was the level where all the grandmas socialized and played mah jong...lol...so when we yelled it and hid, no one could see who was saying it....although there weren't many grand children who were around the building at that time...so I guess they knew it was us lol. My cousins Peggy and Anthony were always the two cousins that made me have fun by getting into mischief....it's hilarious some of the things we've done.
Although we talked about the past, this story never was brought up in our conversations today....although, it's my favorite memory ahah.
I will definitely miss my cousin Peggy and her family as we are heading home tommorrow. The kids are so cute...especially Alexis....I'll try and post some pics of her when I get back; I'll try printing the pics and showing you all...haha....she's a halfie!! :) I'm glad to be going home at the same time...I'm a little homesick.....not because of my friends and stuff...but mostly becaue I miss my home; I love my townhouse...I love my bed...hold on there, I'm coming home to ya soon! :P

"Blog Creepers"
Okay....I don't get why all these weird ppl commented on my last blog...ppl whom I've never meant....maybe it's because my last entry contained "The D" word in it...you know the creatures in my dream!?!? Haha....it's weird....I changed the title of my last blog entry because of these peeps....
Today I did nothing but watch tons of TV, ate a lot of food, and play with my second cousins...they're cute. Jarrett's growing up and he's pretty smart for a kid his age....he doesn't know when to shut up though lol...even when playing video games...that doesn't shut him up....he's funny. Alexis is cute as heck...but she's a drama queen. She tries to hit my cousin when she doesn't get her way...it's terrible....maybe Supernanny needs to intervene!!!
The weather here was a little cooler today...but not as cold as Calgary....I just needed a hoodie to be warm...usually what makes Calgary's weather cooler is the wind!! No wind here.....just calm and cool hahah.

Gross Shivers....
Because of our talks about demons and possession on Friday...I had an experience that night with stuff like that....only, it was a dream. I dreamt that I was sleeping and was oppressed hahaha.....It was 7am in the dream and when I was trying to wake up...I had one eye slightly opened and I couldn't open it any further, or open the other eye. I also couldn't move...I was paralyzed. I could swear it was a dream...but I really don't remember if I actually woke up at that time or not or if it really was a dream...I'm leaning towards a dream.
I also dreamed about meeting my friend and she had these chunks of skin on her face...they were hard though...and the chunks were the colour of almond slices....and the shapes were sqaured shaped...they covered her WHOLE face. It makes me shiver just thinking about it...you know that creepy shiver you get when you find something really gross? Does anyone else get that? I get that feeling as well when looking at certain bugs or micro-organisms through a microscope; it's sick.
Right now I'm at my Cousin's house in Regina..good to be back in Saskatchewan....but it's boering lol....I've got the big city in me now lol. Still....it's a part of me and we even drove through Moose Jaw, my hometown. I'm proud of who I am in a lot of ways and I know I've got a ton of memories from childhood there....I can really appreciate having the chance to see it, even from the outskirts. We ate this really good pizza from "Triple A" and it was deep dish. It was SO GREASY, but it was loaded with layers of meat and cheese, SO good!!!!! The new Family Guy was hilarious!!! Did anyone see it? Okay...I've written too much...don't want to be like Milton and the other "long bloggers" lol
