R and R

Does anyone remember this episode of The Simpsons? Haha...it was quite a sick one. The best is when Marge beats the snot out of the guy who tried to mug her and when she dominates Homer :)

Anyways, I've just been so looking forward to The Simpsons lately...hence my blogs being about them lately. The episodes this season have been excellent and the movie is coming out soon! I was tempted to buy some new figures at Toys R Us yesterday, but chose not to...I may buy them today or tommorrow. It's of Itchy and Scartchy!!! :P

So it seems like everyone is blogging less. I check my Facebook a few times a day but blogs I'm checking maybe 2 or 3 times a week now. My bro said that the inventor of Facebook is some 22 or 24 year old college student. I bet he sleeps in piles of money surrounded by many beautiful ladies now!! :)

So what's new with me? Just relaxing since my part time job is done and school is finished! I'm just recharging for teaching. I can't wait! I think I'll be starting midMay which is great since I'm going away next weekend. I get to visit the Grandma and see how she's doing and see the cousin in Regina. Good times....

Frazzled!!

Oh how Lost is driving me nuts...but in a GOOD way! There was a point in midseason where I was feeling a plateau but that has long gone. The first 6 and the latest 6 episodes have been super! I watched some clip on youtube which had the actors being interviewed and they said at least 1 character will die but today I heard on the radio that 5 characters were getting axed! Does that mean 5 regulars or 5 characters which is a mix of regulars and frequent appearances? Oh how my mind is trying to put these pieces together!

Well one thing I'm not frazzled about is my choice in not taking GCA's offer and hence looking to Rocky View for a full-time position. Thanks to everyone for your input! I appreciate your support and guidance but ultimately, this was the decision that gave me peace in my heart. So here's hoping I get my subbing package soon so I can start within a week or two! :)

There are some hot tunes on the radio right now--songs I'm not sick of yet!! I've been digging the latest tunes by The Fray, Nelly Furtado, Timberland, The Killers, Avril Lavigne, Gym Class Heroes, Daughtry, Katherine McPhee, and Justin Timberlake!! :) Summer is coming and these songs really suit the change in seasons quite well! :)

On a final note, there have been some updates on the latested Marvel movies. Edward Norton will be playing Bruce Banner in the next Hulk movie and Laurence Fishburne will be the voice of The Silver Surfer in FF2!!!!! :)

"Wherever Pieman is.....

"...the Kupcake Kid will not be far behind!" Haha I love this Episode of the Simpsons! I just picked up the figures of Pieman and Kupcake Kid from McFarlane Toys. It's funny because I never really liked this episode the first time I saw it but after seeing it a few times, it's become one of my favorites! What are your favorite Simpsons Episodes? I love "Behind the Laughter," The Lemon Tree, The Party Posse, The Be Sharps, Comic Book Guy dates Agnes Skinner, Who Shot Mr. Burns? part 1 and 2, Lisa's Wedding, Lisa as President, Trilogy of Error (Homer gets his thumb cut off with hilarous consequences) and the 22 Short Films about Springfield (the episode where Herman has Snake and Chief Wiggum tied up in the store like in Pulp Fiction) to name a few!!!

Some memorable quotes from this episode: "Hold it right there. You've hurt your last feeling!" and there's a part in the show where Pieman hangs upside down like Spider-man and kisses Marge like she's MJ from the Spider-man movie and Marge says, "I'm looking up your nose, but I feel like I'm staring into your soul!" Haha..so awesome!!

I'm DONE SCHOOL! Hoo-rah!! Now to focus on resolving the stress of finding a job. I got an offer to start subbing for Rockyview yesterday and accepted it. Regardless of whether or not I take the GCA position, I will sub for Rockyview until June so I can get some work. I only wish I had more time to decide on whether or not I should take this full-time job or not. I just want peace in making a decision that is right for me. I will be visiting GCA and spending the afternoon with them to get a better feel for the school on Monday. I'll make a decision after that.

Well, well...it's Stanley Cup playoffs baby and it's always exciting in April in May because of that and because of all the shows that are ending soon! I'll be taking a break from TV I'm sure after it's all over and spending more time...playing Wii!!!! :) Well, we'll see! :) Still, as exciting as the playoffs are, it's also one of the most stressful times isn't it? There are a few teams I'd love to see knocked off and yet most I don't mind. And then there are a few I REALLY want to win. Sigh..how stressful!!

Not Liking You at All

So I got a job offer from GCA and I have until Monday to decide. The principal called me and he said I sounded hesitant. Well, I told him I was just really surprised. I honestly didn't think I had a shot at this position. I think that's why I was talking smack and saying I wouldn't accept this position even if they offered it to me. Was I just frontin'? Well now I'm definitely going to pray about it....

It's funny because despite having worked at the After School for a few months, I haven't worked a shift with the main boss until last week. She kind of rubbed me the wrong way last week but I didn't think anything of it...maybe I just caught her on a bad day right? Today I had both of my shifts with her and she totally pissed me off. My coworker Caleb laughed and said to me, "what can I do? She's the boss!!!" Well I'm glad I'm quitting soon but I may be picking up more shifts for the next few weeks since I'm done classes.

There's ANOTHER new radio station in town as of today and she's called Energy 101.5 FM Oh yeah, I'm happy about having another top 40 station (no sarcasm). Vibe is nice and all, but I need an alternative so let's see what this new station brings and if they'll last!! It sounds like its a pop station minus rap so far..but not sure. I've only been listening to it for about 3 songs and I've heard so far: "What comes around" by Justin Timberlake, "Powerless" by Nelly Furtado and "Car Wash" by Rose Royce.
***UPDATE*** Scratch the "minus rap" comment as I just heard them play Cupid's Chokehold by Gym Class Heroes :P

And on a final note: I have the new UNITED CD!! Yes, it's definitely different than their last few albums so I was weirded out at first but I'm starting to like this CD!!

Calling it Quits

So I've handed my notice today to the Afterschool. Next week is my last week of working there. I don't know...I figured I would give myself some time to rest before starting full time work. While it's true that I need the money, I just don't want to rush into work feeling drained and miserable. I figured I could get some Wii time this way :)

It's kind of sad to leave the job considering the fact that I'm just starting to get to know these kids. I've developed relationships with them all so I don't know, I just feel a bit sad about it all.

I am suppose to hear back from Glenmore Christian Academy by the end of this week on whether I get the grade 4 position with them or not.

I had my interview with Rocky View and I can tell you the interview went well. They were super nice. The interview wasn't even half as aweful as the CBE one and they even gave me Dasani water to drink during the interview which surprisingly relaxed me. The Rocky View School District building is NICE! It's brand new and I think it looks awesome! I will know within two weeks whether I get a subsituting job with them or not in May. Not sure if i will take it or not as I'm still waiting to hear from the Catholic Board and i heard they were giving out Probationary Contracts like hot cakes. I've heard that substitute teaching is a blessing and is a right of passage in earning a classroom from a few people but I don't necessarily buy into that completely. Is it wrong for me to want a class of my own ASAP? It sounds easy but really, this road has been difficult and yet God is telling me over and over to just trust Him and to look to Him for the perfect place to teach....He is leading me and I want to acknowedge Him...I'm listening......

I hade a chance to visit my old practicum kids last week and it was nice to see them all again and have them give me the latest on what they've been learning in the weeks I've been gone. Some of my students hugged me before even saying "hi"...haha...it was awkward becuase I wasn't necessarily hugging back, but it's nice to know that they care....:)

I also had a chance to catch up with my partner teacher and my team teacher and they were very encouraging. So thanks to them for that. I even found my team teacher on Facebook so that's interesting to see how we know a few common friends lol...it's hilarious how I'm connected with so many people in so many unexpected ways....yup, I'm loving this Facebook thing a lot!!! :)

"Lord, I don't know....

...where all of this is going." Haha, that's a line from a song by The Newsboys. Why does it have to be so confusing and so unclear of a path? Seems like I am never given the easy way in how things role in my life. Sorry, just stating a fact, this is not an emo comment :P

I have a second interview with GCA in a few days. The first one was with the principal and another administrator and it went well...except for the fact that I was late. I got lost and the map supplied by mapquest was wrong!!! The principal told me it was okay that I was late and that he had requested that mapquest change the directions to their school given the information he gave them 3 times, but still, no changes made! :P My second interview is with The Personnel Committee which is pretty scary.

I am starting to think I might not want this job. Cons: it's so far away. Mapquest was right about one thing: it's a 42 minute drive when there's no traffic!! And no, I'm not moving down south! :P Also, I felt really intimidated to tell you the truth...the principal said I would feel pressured there because "parents don't pay $5000/child at GCA for nothing." Heh, as if the pressures of being a first year teacher wasn't bad enough. Pros: Christian organization....real community feeling...can talk about faith at school. I guess we'll just see how this second interview goes but I'm leaning towards public boards....

The Stereotypes are true

....Asians are bad drivers!!! :P Why are there so many driving around me?!?!

Hooray, two new Wii games...but no time to play them :(

Work is making me tired. I read the bible last night and it was in Proverbs that spoke to me. I have been thinking about maybe taking a few extra days off and taking less shifts in the weeks to come but then I read :

So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing?
How long before you get out of bed?
A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there,
sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next?
Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life,
poverty your permanent houseguest!

Okay...so I'll just be happy with being tired and making more money so I can buy more games that I can't play :) Soon I will be done school though so I will have earned my time to relax!!! :)

Updating the Blog

Well it's been awhile since I've blogged hasn't it?! What's new with me? Well, I'm sick and even though the sickness isn't THAT bad, I played hookie from school today haha. Monday class was the only one I haven't skipped so I figured I'd do it haha. I still have to work at 3pm though...

I got to watch 300 on Saturday and it was a good movie! "FOR SPARTA!!!!" haha...I wonder what it would've been like to live in those times and in a society from Greece. Surprising, I wonder if I would be the same person to the core if you took me out of the context of the time and place from which I existed right now. Makes me think of the nature vs. nurture arguments haha.

The concert of Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilaria was really good. Thanks again for the ticket Alicia! I hope you had a great time at your first big concert haha! The dancing was so good wasn't it? And I'm not just talking about the skimpy clothing lol...both performances had great choreography. And Christina's voice was amamzing...funny how a concert can make you like songs you've never liked before. Funny how my ipod's got tunes from Christina now haha....

Learning to Trust

I really have to say that I enjoy my job for the most part. I am surrounded by awesome kids and staff. My boss is very understanding and even asked me about my financial situation and that if I needed a cash advance, she could arrange one. I didn't take it, but still, its the thought that counts. They've been so caring and have all asked me how the interview went.

And lots of people from CPC asked me that too. Most of you know that I didn't have the best feeling about this interview afterwards. I kind of felt calm after it immidiately happened but as I dwelled on it more, the misery increased. I began to ponder what I could've done better and such. It really does mean everything. It didn't help to hear that friends of mine got contracts right after the interviews they had (but they had different interviewers). I also heard that someone got a letter back already in the mail and it was a rejection! So much for desperation for hiring teachers! :P

Well I ran into a few people and they reassured me that it would be okay and that they feel I've got the personality to teach and other qualities too. Even my "enemy" from my class encouraged me. How amazing is that?

I went to Worship at the U where a Fiddle was going and some bass/bongo-like sounding instrument. It was loud and intense haha. I just kind of spent some peaceful time with God and told myself that if God wants me to be in the CBE...I have to trust in Him. And if He doesn't, it'll be painful but I'll have to accept it too. Maybe with the grants given to preschools as of late is a sign that I should head that direction....LOL...me!??! Preschool?!?! Well, we'll have to see haha!!

It all comes down to this.....

Thanks everyone for being so full of wisdom and wishing me good luck! To put your mind at ease, I will be wearing a suit and a tie hahaha. I actually have hit Market Mall practically everyday this week since Monday afternoon and after buying shirts, ties, dress shoes, etc., I think I'm ready. I prepared for my interview last night before sleeping and woke up at 8ish today (because I couldn't sleep), and looked over some more questions. The butterflies are getting stronger as I type this...maybe I shouldn't blog anymore about it because it's making me nervous LOL. Just a couple more hours and then it's time...time to ROCK YOUR WORLD CBE!!! ...hopefully..... :)

Parental Stories

Forgot Dad was coming into town last night. I woke up and saw all his stuff in the washrooom but thought that all of it belonged to one of my brothers. I went downstairs and turned on the light and was startled when I saw a man on the couch lol. If you could've only seen my reaction! :)

Dad just left but he made some dinner and soup before he left. He had dinner wiht us and my bros and I had so many bowls of soup. I can't express how much we love Chinese Soup!! :) Mmmm...Winter Melon!! :)

Mother gave us some oranges and they are REALLY SWEET! However, peeling them sucked because the skin was SO THIN! When I was peeling, I kept ripping chunks of orange out and it became very messy lol. I tried to scarf it down at work before any of the students saw me but a few them came in when I was in the middle of eating the orange. :P

Some sad news to report. One of the kids at work (who is extremely pleasant and whom I'm ver fond of), was expecting a new sibling as his mom was 6 months pregnant. Well we received news that the baby is no longer alive and that the mom was in the hospital. The kid was going to be picked up by a family friend and I can only imagine how he would've reacted when he heard the news. I was at King George today and not the other location so I didn't get to see him. The family is devistated and my boss told us, "if you guys believe in the power of prayer, keep them in your prayers...." Puts a lot into prespective: both the death of the child and the comment my boss made. I can't imagine a mother giving birth to a lifeless child... :(

I always think about how much I want to save money and I always find things I need to buy. I bought four new dress shirts recently and am not sure what to wear for my interview on Friday lol. I think I might not wear a tie. Though it looks good, they're quite uncomfortable. My coworker asked if they were suppose to be uncomfortable and my other coworker replied, "if it's uncomfortable, it's on right!" LOL...that was a funny comment. Hmmm, I might wear a dress shirt and sweater over it....tie? Still debating....

No Rest for the Wicked

Even though it's Family Day, my bros went to work as if it were a regular day. I took this opportunity to work on my last research paper and it looks like it's basically done. Just need to edit it and make sure it flows.

I've had a lot of chances to play the Wii latey. Just been playing Wii Sports lots (specifically Tennis), and I've downloaded the internet channel and Super Mario World (Super NES game!!). And luckily, there is a lot of space in my living room right now (as seen in the picture posted), as we are expecting new couches to arrive tommorrow. That's right, my bro and I went shopping for new couches and we are getting new leather ones. It was either that, or microfiber and quite frankly, I prefere the feel of leather over microfiber any day! :)
My bro took me along because apparently my opinion really does matter so I was able to sway him to make this purchase! :)

While we went to go look for Sofas, my bro and I discovered some specials on beds. We both REALLY want new beds and as much as I'd like to tell you that we ended up fulfilling our wishes for something new to sleep on over the weekend, we decided to prospone this major purchase. "One thing at a time!" My bro declared and I had to agree with him...though I can't wait. Add it to the list of new things we need haha. We also need new dishes and such :) I don't need closet organizers anymore as I took Alicia's advise and went to IKEA to purchase me some of these bad boys! :)
Still, I REALLY want a new bed! :)

First Singles Awareness Day in awhile....

Hey blogging peeps! Man, have the roads been frustrating to drive on this week! LOL....These last three days, I've taken the morning shifts at work and I've found it hard to show up on time. Getting home on Monday was quite frustrating because I was on 14th trying to turn onto John Laurie and cars kept getting stuck in the turning lane! :P Praise Jesus in advance for the warm weather that is coming...

You know what's funny? I always have things in my mind that I want to blog about but sometimes, when I get to the computer, I have already forgotten what I wanted to write about!! What is wrong with me!?

One thing that I think is neat is that my first best friend from Moose Jaw found me on Facebook and we have reconnected. Man, we were best friends until grade 2 or 3 and then our parents had a tiff and then I moved away. Him and I are so different now lol. I'm the religious guy and he's the guy who manages an adult store. How weird eh?......must say something to interrupt awkwardness....his sister used to babysit me!! :) That will do!

For those who are feeling "the sting" of singleness on St. Valentine's Day, I received an encouraging devo from Zjam today. I've copied and pasted it below so feel free to give it a read. May we all find peace in God's plans which unfold in His perfect timing. Here it is:

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone, to have a deep soul relationship with another, to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.

But I say, no, be patient. Not until you are satisfied and fulfilled and content with being alone, with gluing yourself totally and unreservedly to me, will you be ready to have the intensely personal and unique relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be united with
another or anyone else exclusive of any other desires or longings.

I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow me to give you the most thrilling plan existing, one that you cannot imagine. I want you to have the best. Please allow me to bring it to you. You just keep watching
me, expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am. Keep listening and learning the things I tell you. Just wait, don't be anxious. Don't worry.

Don't look around at the things others have got, or that I have given them. Don't look at the things you think you want. Just keep looking to me, or you will miss what I want to show you. And then, when you are ready, I will surprise you with a love far more wonderful than any you
could dream of.

You see, until you are ready and until the one I have ready for you is ready, I am working even at this moment to have you both ready at the same time. Until you are both exclusively with me and the life I have prepared
for you, you won't be able to experience the love that exemplified your relationship with me, and is thus perfect love.

And dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love. I want to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with me and to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty, perfection, and love that I offer you with Myself.

Know that I love you utterly. Believe it! And be satisfied.

For you,
Love,
Jesus

Mrs. Coxson

So today I had an interview for a retain job and I got hired on the same day. However, now that I've been given the offer and have accepted, I think I'm gonna call them and tell them I don't want the job anymore. The reason? I just remember how much I hated retail. :P After the interview, I went to work and it was funny because I loved being there and it passed by so fast. It's nice to have a crappy job offer make you realize how good things are. I will likely ask for more hours even though it's only three hours a day! :P

One good thing is about going to that interview was that I feel that even though I am not going to take the job anymore, it got me practicing having interviews again. I need to practice giving answers. I'll need the practice because apparently, the interviewer I have from the CBE is a mean one. I found this out from a teacher who got hired at Marion Carson who had this mean interviwer. GREAT.....:P

So speaking of which, I went to Marion Carson today to visit my students and it was chaotic! Today was our schoolwide Science Fair day and some of the experiments were so lame, but the others were amazing! However, I guess the point of the event is to have fun with Science so I guess the event accomplished that.

Remember how my last week's entry had me write about a dream about Freddy Kruiger? Well, I had another dream the next day and it was about me being stuck at church with everyone (minus the youth), and we couldn't leave church. We were stuck there. The reason? We were waiting for "The Others" to show up and we were going to attack them. How do you know how much I've been anticipating the new episodes of Lost? When I dream about it! So anyways, it was intense waiting for "The Others" to show up...I was so anxious waiting for them to show up that when someone from church asked me a question, I punched them in the face because I was nervous! Who was the person I punched? LOL..I won't say haha....but he was dripping a pool of blood all over our dirty English side carpet haha. I asked him why he didn't grab tissues but he just let the blood drip. So anyways, to make a long story short, "The Others" were taking a long time to come..kinda like how it is on the show lol and when they finally came, I woke up.... :(

And last but not least, I forgot to mention that on the first day of work a few days ago, I found out I knew one of the parents of the kids at the After School where I work. This boy got picked up by this tall woman and it turned out to be Mrs. Coxson. I asked my coworkers: "Is that Coxson?"
And they say, "Yeah it's [insert first name here]! How do you know her!?"
I answer: "I had her for Science in Junior High...I HATED HER!!!"
Hmmm, small world. :P Well it turns out this kid is actually pretty cool. He's the classic tall kid who you know will be successful in life becuase he's really smart and yet he's not geeky looking...so you know he'll find someone when he's older. The only reason why I remembered the fact that I know Coxson's kid today is because I had a chance to hang out with him today and get to know him better! :P Hehe...Coxson...hilariously disturbing....:P

Are Blogs Dying?

Congrats need to be extended to Payton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts for their victory at The Superbowl! :) I'll have to agree with what my bro wrote on his blog: it was LONG due and now the critics and sports analysts can get off of his back! :P I heart The Indy Colts!!!! And yes, it is a great start to the new year in sports. If only Sharapova won against Serena in Melbourne, all would've been perfect....:(

So I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that people are finding themselves on Facebook now and it seems that a long of attention on my part has been placed on Facebook as opposed to my blog. Does anyone else find this is to be true?

I can't believe it...I had a friend who had the nerve to call during one of my shows lol. Don't you know that I skipped out on a workshop from work in order to watch my shows today? It's okay; I forgive you....this time...:) Just a reminder though that 24 is TWO HOURS NEXT WEEK! Also, Survivor and Lost start this week! :) Oh the dread of watching more TV!!!!

On an unrelated note, we need a lot of new things in my house and it's not me being vain. New Sofas have been on our minds for over a year. We need new dishes as the ones we have are quite old and ugly and my bro managed to smash a few last week. I want a new bookshelf to put more of my toys and books on. Also, I really want some sort of organizer for the clothes in my closet as I'm just stacking everything on top of each other. Any suggestions?

Get Your Move On!!!

How can I not be excited for this game? There's going to be a Bust-a-move coming out for the Wii in March and I'm so excited about it. It can have up to 8 players all on one screen! Just check out the screenshot I've posted from ign.com!!! Who's in for trying out this game with 8 people?! Oh the maddness and the chaos!! :)

Haha...there are a lot of people who are still sick and it's scary because the sickness everyone has is just lingering--they haven't been able to get rid of it and so much time has passed! My bro had Buckley's today for what I believe to be was his first time...his reaction was absolutely hilarious...my other bro and I told him to take it like a man haha! And they said I'm the baby in the family wahaha!!! Well, I'm praying for everyone to get better! :)

Well I had a dream today about my Sandstone home and Geo was in it. I remember I used to have a problem with the garage door at that house as it would open randomly because I think another house had the same frequency as us or something for the garage door opener. In the dream, I parked the car in the garage but the door wouldn't close and I told Geo to watch things for me while I went inside to check the house. This is becuase the door from the house to the garage was never locked at that house and so it was like that also in my dream. I was always afraid that people would go into my house through this door to the house when the garage door openned "accidentally" in real life but in my dream, I was also afraid so I went to go check it out. When I opened the door to scan for intruders, I heard footsteps and I could see the figure coming at me and I yelled for Geoffrey but I couldn't tell him what I saw--the words didn't come out. It was Freddie Kruger--the monster from the horror movies "Nightmare on Elm Street!!!" He was coming at me and he clawed me and I woke up at that time and freaked out! Scary!! And for those of you wondering, I didn't look at the clock to check the time for fear of it being 3am....:) I know I've told some of you about this dream already (the boys at cell group and my bros thought it was hilarious), but I wanted to share it with the rest of you and document this dream so I would remember how freaky it was forever!!! :P

First Day

I'm at school right now getting ready to go to work at Mount Pleasant After School. Hope that goes well! God I pray it's a good place to work! :)

I have a CBE interview on March 9. PLEASE pray for me!! :)

I've been having a lot of fear lately and I don't know why. My dreams are really wrapped around me driving and crashing. This results in death or in a fatal injury. SCARY!

Other fear I'm having is something I can't really put into words. Maybe it's not fear? Maybe it's something else? I think it contributes to me wanting to quit worship leading on Sunday. Well, I've been feeling like doing this for over half a year now and it still hasn't gone away...I actually am having a lot more peace about quitting but I don't want to quit if it's the wrong thing for me to do. Even though I've felt this way for awhile, I've never quit because it didn't feel right but now it does....I can't explain why, but it does....is it REALLY what I'm suppose to do or am I just convincing myself....?

Lulu, you so wise! :P

Heh, Asian guys look really bad with facial hair. Nonetheless, I still LOVE Future of Forestry! I picked up their new album today and I really have to say they have slowly become one of my favorite bands...:) New FOF is so far the BEST of the year! :)

Hmmm...I read something a few months ago which is starting to show itself true so much more lately. Oh how my eyes have been open! Anyways, Donald Miller talked about how opinionated people are and how they just all have to be right about something. Just look at Christians. They argue about trivial things all to prove a point that what one person believes surely has more merit than what the other one thinks. Seriously, who cares if Adam had a belly button or not! Is that worth arguing over? :P

I was talking to a brother of mine and he told me something which he felt strongly about. Oh how I wanted to say, "Wow, you really have it all figured out don't you?" Haha...but I didn't. We talked for a few hours though and it was time well spent. :)

I wish it were just in the church that these people exsited but they're all over the place! In my education classes, I have finally found them! Jacklyn and Sarah warned me about these freaks all the time but I never had them in my classes so I never believed! (Well..maybe one, but that's not strong enough evidence to make a generalization!). Wow, calm down there you freaks with opinions!! Stop trying to shove your beliefs down my throat because if you think Christians are notorious for that, look at yourselves! :)

I learnt something from Lululemon during these past few days. I read something which they suggested to do and I think I'm going to apply this to my life. Apparently I'm suppose to write 5 goals (long term and short term) and update the list quarterly. 2 of the goals are personal, 2 are related to business, and 1 related to fitness. Apparently studies have shown that those who do this actually have a better chance at achieving their goals! Wow, go figure! :P And now to come up with the list of goals for MY life....:P

One last thing I wanted to talk about which is unrelated to any of the above is apparently there is an American state which needed to predict how many prisons they needed for the future generation of people and in order to determine this, the state looked at grade 3 student achievement exam results to make their decision. So for those of you who were wondering what applications grade 3 achievement exams have to real life, well there you go! :)

Wii Weight Loss Program?!

Playing the Wii is quite a different experience than the usual sit-motionless-on-the-couch scenario. Nintendo's new console has gotten people on their feet and using muscles their bodies had forgotten about. One blogger in Philadelphia has lost nine pounds just from playing Wii Sports.

After six weeks of playing Wii Sports for 30 minutes a day, Mickey DeLorenzo dropped from 181 pounds to 172. DeLorenzo came up with the regimen after his first breathless Wii Boxing match against his wife.

His food intake remained the same and he didn't deny himself the usual holiday indulgences, either. He tracked his progress at
WiiNintendo.net, which includes before and after photos.

DeLorenzo told Reuters a fitness Web site has enlisted his help in creating Wii workouts, and he also recently bought the domain name WiiWorkout.net.

Does it sound too good to be true?! :)
